When this film was first screened in Los Angeles, a good friend of mine contacted me about a month later to give me a message. She told me that a friend of hers son had been murdered some time ago. That the killer had gone on trial for the death of her son and was found guilty. But the justice that was served to her son's murderer was not enough to excuse him for the pain he had caused her. She refused to pardon him though the murderer had asked. My friend told me that this woman saw the film 'The Noble'. That some how, some way, this short film touched her in a moment to exercise forgiveness towards her son's murderer. She found solace and release from the anger she was holding. She found the strength to forgive this person, a peace of which there is none greater...
